Guess Luggage Review: Are Their Suitcases Worth Buying?

Guess Olson 28” Spinner Suitcase

The Olson spinner is a good option if you’re looking to get a softshell checked suitcase. The 28” size boasts a large packing capacity that should be enough for trips that are two weeks or longer. The luggage is made from the vinyl and it features the QuadG iteration of the Guess logo all over the fabric.

The interior of the suitcase is fully lined with polyester, and it’s worth noting that there’s no branding inside the luggage. But you get extra Guess logos on the hardware, which is a really nice detail. There are also top and side grab handles that match the details on the front of the suitcase.

This suitcase features smooth double-spinner wheels, a telescopic wheel handle, and a TSA-approved combination lock. It’s pretty standard in terms of features, and it has everything you would expect from a mid-range suitcase. The capacity of this luggage is expandable with a zipper, and the wheel handle can be locked at multiple heights for easy maneuverability.

The interior of the Olson spinner features one spacious packing compartment and a large zippered pocket on the top cover. The pocket is made from mesh so you can easily see everything inside it, but I have to point out that you don’t get any other pockets inside the suitcase.

There is an extra zippered compartment on the front of the bag, which is great for items you want to keep easily accessible at the airport.

The Ederlo suitcase from Guess is a good choice if you want an international carry-on. This luggage measures just 20” tall, which means that it’s small enough to be accepted as a carry-on with most international airlines. Even budget airlines will treat this as a cabin bag, making this luggage super versatile for international travel.

The luggage is made from Polyurethane with a water-repellent coating, so it performs well in different weather conditions. The contents of the suitcase will stay perfectly dry in the rain, so you don’t have to worry when traveling to and from the airport.

Additionally, the Guess Ederlo luggage features double spinner wheels for easy maneuverability, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and a TSA-approved zipper lock. They’re all features you’d expect on a mid-range suitcase like this one, so it’s good to know that Guess doesn’t disappoint.

One thing that I don’t like that much about this luggage is that there’s no external pocket. I think it’s a missed opportunity since external compartments are the main reason I prefer using softside to hardside luggage.

On the other hand, that does mean you get a bit more packing space inside the suitcase. The Ederlo has a single packing compartment with tie-down straps and a convenient zippered pocket on the top cover. There’s also a small zippered pocket inside the main compartment, for easy organization of all your smaller items.

Guess Janelle 24" Debossed Peony Roller Suitcase

Guess Janelle luggage is a beautiful softside suitcase made from durable polyurethane. The luggage shell features a debossed peony logo all over the fabric, but it’s slightly understated. If you like Guess but you’re not a huge fan of the very prominent logo, this is a really good option. This case is available in black and pink colors, both of which look really good.

The 24” suitcase is a medium checked bag suitable for trips of up to two weeks. The luggage features an expandable capacity, so you can shop while you’re away and still have plenty of space to take everything home.

Additionally, this Guess suitcase also features double spinner wheels, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and a TSA-friendly lock. It’s got grab handles on the top and side, as well as a fully-lined interior. There’s Guess branding even inside the suitcase, which is a lovely and subtle detail.

The interior of the Janelle suitcase also features tie-down straps and two convenient pockets on the top cover. There’s also an external compartment for any items you want to keep handy while you’re on the move with this suitcase.

Other features of this case include single spinner wheels, a telescopic wheel handle, a TSA-friendly lock, and expandable capacity. The single-spinner wheels aren’t quite as smooth as double-spinner wheels, but they are lighter, which is always a bonus. This entire suitcase weighs less than 6.5 lbs and that’s a really good weight for a carry-on bag.

Overall, this is a really good carry-on suitcase, especially if you prefer hardside cases. It’s durable, lightweight, and expandable, and it’s got all the features you would expect from a quality bag, plus it’s designed by Guess and features their staple 4G logo all over the shell.

Guess Vezzola Cabin Trolley Travel Bag

The Vezzola cabin bag is a good option if you’re looking for a classic carry-on suitcase. The luggage measures 21.65” tall, which is small enough that most international airlines will accept it as a cabin bag. The suitcase is made from polyurethane, for excellent durability and water resistance.

This luggage also features double spinner wheels, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and a TSA-approved combination lock. It doesn’t have an expandable capacity, which can be an upside or a downside, depending on how you look at it. You can’t expand the case to get extra space to fit everything you might need inside, but at the same time, this makes it almost impossible to overpack the suitcase and exceed baggage weight limits.

The suitcase does have a spacious packing compartment with tie-down straps, and it should fit enough clothes for trips of 2-3 days. There’s a zippered pocket on the top cover for items you want to keep separate, as well as a smaller pocket inside the main compartment.

This Guess luggage has one grab handle at the top, plus an additional external compartment in the front. The suitcase shell features the staple Guess 4G logo; it’s a recognizable pattern, but the branding isn’t very in-your-face thanks to the muted colors.

The Vezzola Pilot Trolley bag is an excellent option if you’re looking for a small, underseat bag. The exterior of the bag is made from faux leather and it features the brand’s staple 4G logo all over the shell. The reason why this is one of the best underseat bags you can get your hands on is that it’s equipped with wheels and a telescopic wheel handle that allow for easy maneuvering.

On top of that, the bag also features a luggage sleeve in the back so you can easily mount it on top of a bigger suitcase. The wheel handle stores in its own zippered compartment, the shoulder strap is detachable, and the two grab handles are padded for better grip and carrying comfort.

One is a spacious packing compartment that can fit all your trip essentials, while the top cover boasts multiple sleeves and open pockets for your electronics. The bag has a dedicated laptop sleeve that fits devices up to 16.4”, as well as an extra slot for a tablet.

The Izzy suitcase is, in my opinion, the best-looking luggage from Guess. It’s available in brown and beige colors with either red or yellow accents, and I love the lighter luggage with bright yellow details.

The case is made from polyurethane and there’s Guess branding all over the main parts of the luggage. It’s worth noting that PU is a water-repellant material, so you can expect this luggage to perform very well in wet weather.

The suitcase measures 20.8” with wheels and handles, which is the perfect height for an international carry-on. The case alone is 18”, and that should be large enough to fit clothes for trips of up to five days.

This luggage is equipped with double spinner wheels, a TSA-approved lock, a height-adjustable handle, and multiple internal and external pockets. It has one packing compartment with tie-down straps and expandable capacity, as well as additional storage space on the front of the case.

Guess Lustre 24" Spinner Suitcase

The Lustre luggage is a good option if you’re a fan of simpler design. Unlike the other luggage from the brand, this suitcase has a basic design with a very subtle Guess logo. It’s a good hardside suitcase with a shell that’s made from a mixture of ABS and polycarbonate.

You get the flexibility and impact resistance of polycarbonate, but the lighter weight of ABS plastic. The shell is also textured, for improved scratch resistance, but the case lacks reinforced corners.

The suitcase is equipped with double spinner wheels that are smooth and silent. You maneuver the case with an aluminum wheel handle, which has an ergonomic grip and the ability to be locked at multiple heights. There’s also a standard grab handle on the top of the luggage, and another one on the side.
