If you’re looking for a backpack that can carry your breast pump, this is easily the best option. The Teamoy pack is designed to fit even those bulky pumps like the Spectra, with two separate compartments for easy organization.
The top compartment of this backpack is actually a cooler – it is insulated and leakproof, so perfect for storing bottles of milk or even snacks for lunch. And the bottom compartment is designed to hold the breast pump, with a convenient zippered pocket for the charger and all those smaller pieces you need for it.
This pack features an extra front pocket, for any smaller items you’d like to keep separate. And there are stretchy side pockets, for those bulky items that would take up too much space in the main compartments. In addition to that, the Teamoy backpack for moms also has a hidden zippered pocket, which is perfect for your phone, wallet, or those other extra important items.
One thing that you will love about this backpack is the flat bottom – it’s perfect for holding the breast pump secure, which is going to make it super easy to pump in the car on your way to work. Plus, with the foam padding and breathable mesh on the backpanel and the shoulder straps, this is going to be pretty comfortable to wear like a proper backpack.
The only downside of the backpack is that it’s not really versatile. The square-shaped compartments are perfect for pumps, but they’re not ideal for diapers, toys, and all the other items you need when going around town with your little one.
The Tethys diaper backpack for moms is a very versatile option. It is made from waterproof polyester, so it’s a bag you can carry regardless of the weather outside – you’ll never have to worry about the contents of the pack getting wet.
It features two main compartments; a spacious one with six internal pockets, and a smaller compartment that’s dubbed the parent pocket – large and secure enough to hold your laptop or tablet. In total, this backpack has 18 different pockets that will make it effortless to stay organized at all times.
That’s pretty good not just for everyday outings with your baby, but also for traveling and going to work.
Two of those 18 pockets are insulated, and they’re perfect for both hot and cold beverages. And one of the pockets is designed to give you easy access to tissues, which is pretty amazing.
This pack is equipped with thick padding and breathable mesh on the shoulder straps, as well as a ventilated and padded insert on the backpanel. And that insert is not fully sewn onto the backpanel; it also doubles as a trolley sleeve, which lets you secure the backpack on top of a suitcase – great for traveling.
Another great thing about this backpack is the unisex design. It doesn’t look very feminine, so there’s no reason dads can’t wear it too! It’s not a remarkably stylish bag, but with so many functional features, that’s hardly a deal-breaker.
The only downside of the Tethys backpack is that it doesn’t have stroller straps. You will have to either carry it on your back or put it in the basket.
The Cotey backpack is the perfect backpack for moms that want to be prepared for everything when they’re out with the kids. With a capacity of 30 liters spread over three compartments and 18 pockets, you will be able to find a spot for every time you might possibly need.
The great thing about this backpack is that it comes with a portable changing pad – perfect for quickly changing the kid’s diaper in the most inconvenient places you can imagine.
There are three main compartments on this backpack, and each of them is designed to hold different items. The largest compartment has six internal pockets, and it’s supposed to hold blankets, a change of clothes, and all those bulkier baby items you don’t know where else to put.
There’s actually a special diaper compartment on this pack, with slip pockets for diapers, so you can have easy access to them at all times. And there’s the smallest front compartment, with insulated bottle pockets. If you’re an extra organized mom, this backpack is pretty much tailor-made for you.
In addition to all those, this pack also features side pockets, an extra front pocket, a waterproof zippered pocket, a hidden back pocket, and access to the bottom of the main compartment through the backpanel. Perfect for moms who know exactly where they put something and want to be able to access it immediately.
Another great thing about this backpack is that it is going to be very comfortable to wear, with the padded and ventilated shoulder straps. And it comes with detachable stroller straps!
The Hodar diaper backpack is perfect for moms who don’t want to let the world know they have a bag full of diapers with them. The floral print is very cute, and would look really well even if you pair it with a black dress or skirt!
But that’s not why this is a great backpack – the stylish exterior is just the cherry on top of the cake. The reason why you will love this backpack is that it can fit so many items that you won’t need a different bag for a while.
It has two main compartments; one is very spacious, with internal pockets for organizing all the stuff for your child. The other compartment is slimmer, and it features a 15” laptop sleeve – great for those extra busy mums that need easy access to both the baby bottles and their MacBook.
On top of that, this pack features access to the bottom of the main compartment through the backpanel, a zippered front pocket with two slots for baby bottles, and a USB port that lets you charge your phone on the go. It’s also really comfortable to wear, with the thick padding and breathable mesh on the backpanel and shoulder straps.
This diaper backpack also comes with a clear, waterproof bag – great for both storing toiletries when traveling, or just for keeping dirty diapers away from the rest of the stuff in the bag.
The Hodar backpack is stylish, functional, and incredibly versatile – it’s great for pretty much everything a busy mom needs. And that’s why it’s one of our favorite backpacks
You can’t go wrong with a classic, black leather backpack – especially one that’s designed to hold everything you might possibly need as a mom. With multiple compartments and pockets, the Landici backpack for moms has a designated spot for everything, from your laptop to bottles.
This backpack is smaller than most others I’ve shown you, so it’s best for moms who don’t actually need a giant back with an endless pit for the main compartment. It has a rather simple design – one large main compartment, and a smaller front compartment for stuff you want to have easily accessible at all times.
The interior of the pack has a total of six pockets, which is still enough that you can stay organized. And the interior of the bag also includes a padded laptop sleeve, making this a pretty versatile backpack.
There’s also a wide slip pocket in the back – this is great if you want to attach the backpack to the stroller and still have some things more easily accessible than others – yes, the stroller straps are included in the purchase.
One of the side pockets of the bag also doubles as a tissue dispenser, while the magnetic closure of the main compartment ensures you have easy access to all the important stuff. On top of all that, the shoulder straps of this backpack are actually detachable – you can remove one of them, and be able to carry this like a classic crossbody bag.
The KiddyCare backpack is another excellent backpack for moms. It is made from durable polyester, and it comes in five different colors, so there’s plenty of variety for everyone. And it’s a seriously affordable backpack that most moms will be able to afford.
This diaper daypack has a large main compartment with six internal pockets. One of those is a waterproof pocket – perfect for dirty diapers or wet clothes. You can access the main compartment through the backpanel, so you always have easy access to anything you need.
There’s also a smaller front compartment, which features three insulated slip pockets for baby bottles, and an extra zippered pocket inside. And there are three additional external pockets, one of which doubles as a tissue dispenser.
The backpack has a pair of adjustable shoulder straps, as well as two grab handles that let you carry this bag like a tote. You don’t get a pair of stroller straps, but you are able to attach the grab handles to a stroller and secure them in place with a piece of webbing.
In terms of organization and capacity, this is really an awesome backpack. But it’s underwhelming in terms of the mom’s carrying comfort – the KiddyCare pack doesn’t have any breathable mesh on the backpanel or the harness, so it’s not going to be the most comfortable bag to wear, especially on really warm days.
The Ticent backpack is another super stylish yet very functional option. The black exterior with golden accents is rather minimalistic, and pretty much conceals the fact that you’re carrying a diaper backpack.
This has a spacious main compartment with a wide opening, which gives you easy access to everything inside. The zipper on the backpanel also helps with that – it lets you get to the items that are at the bottom of the main compartment, without having to rummage through it. And you will be able to keep items organized inside since the main compartment features a total of six pockets.
On top of that, the backpack also has three insulated slip pockets in the smaller front compartment. The side pockets can fit baby bottles you want to have handy, while the hidden pocket in the back can keep your valuables safe. One of the side pockets also works as a tissue dispenser, so you can have easy access to those at all times.
This backpack features adjustable shoulder straps and a pair of grab handles at the top, so you can carry it both like a backpack and a tote. However, it’s not going to be the most comfortable thing to carry like a backpack, considering that there’s no ventilation on the harness or the backpanel.
You won’t get any stroller straps with this backpack for moms, which is a shame. Especially considering that it has D-rings for attaching stroller straps.
The Bag Nation backpack is a heavy duty option for moms who don’t give a rat’s ass about what their bag looks like. It’s an incredibly functional pack, with a variety of different pockets and accessories that will make your life a whole lot easier. But it’s also one of the pricier options, so it’s definitely not for moms that want a budget backpack.
This pack is made from water resistant polyester, and it is very easy to clean. No matter what you spill on it, you can just wipe it away with a wet towel.
There are seven external zippered pockets on this backpack, one of which is fully insulated and designed to hold a water bottles. Another one is supposed to work as a tissue dispenser, while the other is there just to help you stay organized while you’re running about with your little one.
And of course, there’s the extra spacious main compartment with a variety of zippered and slip pockets inside. It can easily hold all the stuff you need for a day out with your baby, plus some of your must-have items – the large capacity of the backpack entirely eliminates the need for a separate purse for mom’s stuff.
The Bag Nation backpack has an excellent backpanel – with thick padding and breathable mesh, you will always be comfortable and sweat-free. On top of that, this bag comes with a changing pad, stroller straps, and a small travel pouch. Even though it’s one of the pricier bags, you get excellent value for money thanks to all the different accessories!
The Vogshow backpack is a great versatile option. It has a double deck design, meaning you get to spacious main compartment. Because of that, it can work both as a backpack for a breast pump and water bottles, or just for diapers, blankets, and all the stuff you need to have when you’re out with your baby.
Oh, and there’s a key clip inside the top compartment, so you will have those handy at all times.
And you can also remove the barrier between the two compartments, and just use it like one really big main compartment. In addition to that, the backpack also has an extra compartment in the back that features a laptop sleeve, a small slip pocket and a waterproof pocket. There are also two smaller zippered pockets on the front panel, as well as two open pockets on the sides.
The overall capacity and organization capabilities of this backpack are really amazing. If you’re a mom who likes to have options and want a backpack that can work for everything, this is definitely one of the best bags you can pick up.
The backpanel isn’t going to be the most comfortable, since there’s no ventilation to speak of, but that’s hardly a deal-breaker. Especially considering that you have multiple carrying options for this bag.
Additionally, this is so far the only backpack for moms that includes a sternum strap, which is definitely worth mentioning. It will ensure that the shoulder straps stay in place even when you’re moving around a lot, which is usually true for most busy moms.
The Cosyland bag is very fashionable and functional backpack. With a spacious main compartment, multiple internal pockets and an insulated front compartment, everything you need will be within the reach of your fingers.
This bag also features a tiny slip pocket for spoons inside the insulated compartment – so far a unique feature that none of the other diaper packs for moms had. And it has a handy USB port, with an internal pocket for a power bank.
The USB charging ports allow you to have your phone handy while it’s charging if the bag is hanging from the stroller – pretty useful for busy moms that have to reply to emails all the time. Or for those moms that just want to take photos of their adorable child!
Thanks to the heavily padded and breathable shoulder straps, mom will always be comfortable while carrying this pack. And because of the simple, unisex design, dads can also carry it without being self-conscious about the appearance of their bag!
One thing we love about this pack is that it comes with a pair of stroller straps, as well as a portable and insulated pouch. This is great for those times when you need to have food for the little one handy, but don’t want it to stay the same temperature even outside the insulated pocket.
This bag is also a good option for travel – it’s spacious, carry-on sized and it has a luggage strap in the back. This lets you mount it on top of a bigger suitcase, so it’s really easy to move around with multiple pieces of luggage and a stroller!
The golden rule with backpacks for moms is the bigger the better. So, I’ve tried to include backpacks that have large capacities, plenty of pockets, but that are still small enough that you could use them as a carry-on item for travel.
But not all moms actually want a giant backpack with 20 pockets – some are just looking for a bag that can hold their breast pump and bottles. And I have options for everyone; I’ve tried hard to include all sorts of diaper bags, from extremely versatile ones that could even double as EDC backpacks, to bags that come with a portable changing pad.
However, some of the backpacks featured here are still designed for very specific purposes. So be careful to read through the features of each backpack, and make sure that it has what you’re looking for. If you’re in need of a travel diaper bag, it’s not a good idea to pick up a breast pump backpack just because you desperately want that cooler.
The first five backpacks featured in the review each excel in their respective purposes, so one of those is probably going to be the best option for you.
The best diaper bags won’t actually look like diaper bags. On the outside, they will look like fashionable backpacks you could wear anywhere, but with all the features you need from a diaper bag inside. And that describes most of the backpacks featured in this review. Some of them look better than the others, but none of them scream ‘diaper bag’ at first glance.
Anyway, the appearance of the backpack matters, but not as much as its overall functionality.> Which is why I also featured a lot of unisex backpacks – it’s great for parents who don’t want to have two different backpacks. You can keep everything in one bag, and just switch it between the two of you.
Those backpacks usually feature a very simple design in a basic color – great for dads who don’t really want to walk around with a pink floral backpack on their shoulders.
Are you looking to get a backpack that’s great for everyday stuff like heading to the park, or a bag that you could take everywhere? A lot of the backpacks for moms featured here are pretty versatile – some are also great for traveling with your little ones, while the others are perfect for busy moms who are used to pumping on their way to work.
And some bags can do it all. If you’re in the market for a super versatile diaper backpack, look for bags that are labeled as versatile in the pro boxes. These are the backpacks that are great for pretty much anything you need, from picking up the kids from daycare to changing diapers in the car.
In addition to that, the more accessories you get with a bag, the more versatile it’s going to be. So, if you really want a bag that does it all, look for something that comes with a bunch of extra features – stroller straps, a changing pad, an insulated pouch, a USB port, etc.
Some of the maternity backpacks featured here also have a dedicated laptop sleeve. These are great for busy moms who sometimes have to work while they’re out and about with the kids. And it’s great for those moms that want to use the backpack as a carry-on – the laptop sleeve will hold your device secure, and all the other compartments and pockets can hold the items you need for the baby.
If you’re having a hard time choosing just one backpack, go with one of our favorites. All of the backpacks featured in this review are amazing and won’t disappoint you, but these three just have that extra something!
Moms who want a backpack that can hold everything they might possibly need should pick up the Cotey Diaper Backpack. It has a capacity of 30 liters, which is enough for long hikes and even camping trips – it’s definitely going to be enough for days outside with your little one.
The bag has three separate compartments and a total of 18 pockets, for easy organization. And it comes with stroller straps and a changing pad – must-have accessories for stress-free outings with the kids. On top of that, the padded and ventilated harness will keep moms comfortable, even when they fill up the bag to the brim!
Moms who want a bag that they can use for a breast pump should go with the Teamoy Backpack. It has two separate compartments – the bottom one is designed to hold a pump and all of its accessories, while the top compartment acts as a cooler for the milk bottles.
This is by far the best bag for busy moms who have to pump on their way to work or even in the office – it’s discreet, it won’t tip over while you’re pumping thanks to the flat bottom and it has plenty of smaller pockets for all your other necessities.
If you’re looking for a versatile backpack that you can use for everyday stuff, breast pump, and even travel, pick up the Tethys Diaper Backpack. The spacious main compartment can hold the items you need on a daily basis, especially with all those smaller pockets for easy organization.
The pack also has a laptop compartment that makes it a great option for travel, as well as a luggage sleeve that allows you to mount the backpack on top of a suitcase. Plus, the backpanel and shoulder straps are both padded and ventilated, so both moms and dads can be comfortable while carrying this awesome unisex backpack!
