While the Teva Voya Infinity Sandals might be cute looking and affordable, let’s take a look at what is under the hood and how long they will last.

Materials

The straps feature leather holds and a leather toe piece with a stretchy polyester strap that secures them to your feet. The leather is double-stitched and soft.

The topsole or footbed is made from EVA foam, sitting on a midsole of EVA foam, and with an outsole of EVA foam with treads that provide ample grip.

Being made largely from EVA foam, these are very cushiony and you might feel like you are walking on clouds, but, we’ll discuss more about that in the comfort section later.

Durability

When it comes to durability, the Teva Voya Infinity Sandals are overall pretty solid.

The leather strap holds last for years and the EVA foam slowly molds to your feet, plus it can handle getting wet, being left in the sun, and more.

The elasticated polyester straps last for ages but they can lose their elasticity over time and slowly loosen while you are wearing the sandals, which can get rather annoying!

The main issue with durability is with the sole. Being made from EVA foam, it is not very solid, in fact, it is pretty soft.

If you wear these on grass and at the beach, they will last a while, but start walking up mountains on rocky trails, the sole will wear out and chip quite quickly.

Comfort & Support

Sandals can go either way when it comes to support and comfort, so how do the Teva Voya Infinity Sandals do in this regard?

Comfort

One thing I love about these sandals is that there is no breaking in time required, unlike some other flip-flops and sandals out there.

Being made from three layers of EVA foam that also includes an EVA foam top sole, these are incredibly comfortable sandals right out of the box.

Sliding these on for the first time is akin to walking on clouds as the foam provides so much cushioning for your feet. The foam is also incredibly soft and feels delightful against your skin.

The straps are a bit 50/50 when it comes to comfort. For those with wide feet, there is a chance of them digging in along with the leather holds, as the sandals are quite narrow.

But, this is not the case for everyone and some find the straps super comfortable. They can be a little tricky to put on, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy!

The key to ensuring these are comfy is getting the size right so be sure to look at the size guide and order accordingly. Don’t be afraid to order two sizes and return the ones that don’t fit!

Support

Being made from three layers of EVA foam, from the footbed through to the midsole and the outsole, these sandals are all about support.

The EVA absorbs pretty much all the shock and provides an immense amount of cushioning for your feet. This ensures good arch support that only gets better as the sandals slowly mold to your feet over time.

You can use these for days at the beach or while exploring a new city, walking on hard concrete for hours, and your feet will feel incredibly supported and comfortable at the end of a long day.

But, having so much EVA foam can mean that these sandals might be too squishy for you. We all have different feet and whether footwear is supportive enough depends on you.

If you prefer something solid, these foam sandals might not be what you have been looking for!

Traction

The EVA foam soles on the Teva Voya Infinity Sandals come with a criss-cross tread on the bottom and the traction is surprisingly grippy!

You can use these sandals while walking around town, or at the beach, and they even do well when you’re walking on wet surfaces too! But, can you go hiking with them?

These sandals are actually surprisingly great for hiking. The straps ensure they stay close to your feet and the foam provides good traction on loose trails.

But, being made from soft foam, the soles are not built to last very long on harsh terrain as they will get holes and wear down fast.

I would recommend wearing these sandals around town and at the beach. You can also go on occasional hikes with them but don’t go too often if you don’t want them to wear out quickly.

Style

When it comes to style, the Teva Voya Infinity Sandals are pretty damn cool in our eyes. They have such style, that even celebrities are wearing them a lot of the time.

You can find them in a range of different colors from straight black to beige. There are also options with different colored leather holds and bright popping colorful polyester straps.

I love that these are slim and not bulk sandals like some can be plus they have a minimal look to them when they are on your feet! Overall, these have great style in our eyes!

Versatility

The Teva Voya Infinity Sandals are pretty damn versatile in our eyes. They are awesome sandals for casual occasions in the summer months – think beach-going, drinks at bars, chilled lunches, BBQs, and more.

When it comes to weather and wet environments, these are great sandals too. They are fully waterproof and can be worn on boats, while paddle boarding, or exploring rock pools and hiking through streams.

Once they are wet, they dry very quickly and they are portable too. These are very light sandals that pack down small and will lay flat in your backpack without you even noticing they are in there.

You can also use these sandals on adventures, as I have already mentioned. They grip on wet surfaces, handle loose trails, and stay put on your feet.

However, remember the soles will wear out quickly when on rough terrain, so they are not built for adventures per se but can handle them!

Value For Money

The Teva Voya Infinity Sandals retail for $40 which is incredibly affordable for what you are getting. These sandals are pretty awesome in our eyes, plus they are built to last.

You can, of course, find more affordable options out there but chances are they will not compare to these.

These are durable, comfortable out of the box, can pretty much go anywhere, and are waterproof, making them hard to beat.

However, this is only the case if the straps do not dig into your feet as they can do for some!

Overall, we think these offer excellent value for money!

Rating

The Teva Voya Infinity Sandals have done very well across most of the categories in our rating system with a score of 80/100.

They only lost points in the comfort category, as they don’t work for some people as the straps can dig in.

It might be harsh to drop their points for the sake of some people’s comfort, as a lot of people love them, but it gives a rounder point of view!

Other than this, they are about as good as a sandal can get for going to the beach and enjoying all the other great things that come along with summer!
