If you are primed to get the best view possible of Mount Fuji then Chureito Pagoda is the place to do it.
With a stunning view of Mount Fuji with an iconic Pagoda On the left hand side of the shot, and often with either cherry blossoms or fall colors in the trees…what more could you want?
You might have a few questions about this photographic mecca though – such as how to get there, how much it costs, and where to take this amazing photo?
The easiest way to get to Chureito Pagoda from Tokyo is by train.
If you do not have a Japan Rail Pass and want to save a little money, you can take the bus to Kawaguchiko, close to Chureito Pagoda, and switch to the train from there.
Most of you will not have the option to go by car, but just in case you have one, it is approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Tokyo. Just keep in mind that getting out of Tokyo could take a bit of time, so it will usually take longer.
