For a price tag below one hundred bucks, the Samsonite Omni PC Hardside Spinner is a great buy. It’s not the best Samsonite you’ll get, but it’s one of the best pieces of Samsonite luggage you’ll find under $100. Quality is already a given when it comes to this brand, and this relatively cheaper suitcase is no exception.
It’s a sturdy carry-on bag that won’t show too much wear even after several years of abuse. It has a micro-diamond scratch-resistant texture and 100% polycarbonate construction
This suitcase has four 360-degree spinner wheels to make it easy to glide through airports or maneuver down plane aisles.
The Samsonite Omni PC Spinner also has expandable capacity. It will still meet carry-on restrictions even when expanded.
The suitcase is equipped with a top handle so you can lift it up to the overhead compartment. However, it lacks side and bottom handles. It will be much harder to pull it out, or simply carry it in other orientations.
This Samsonite luggage has a mounted TSA lock on the side. The zippers also have a slot for an additional lock for added security.
There are two pockets you can use inside. There’s a side pocket in the main compartment for underwear or loose items. A full-zip pocket is found on the lid for laundry, shoes, a suit, or other bigger items.
And cross-strap keeps all your items in place.
Its long telescopic handle locks midway to adjust to different heights. The handle glides out easily, unlike flimsier models within the same price range.
If you think the best Samsonite luggage is only about price, the Samsonite Winfield will surprise you. For its sleek and stylish design, stunning colors, and subtle luxury, the Samsonite Winfield 2 Fashion Spinner is great for those who use their luggage as a fashion statement. It’s made of 100% polycarbonate material for lightweight durability.
It’s equipped with a three-digit TSA-approved lock. However, you can’t add any supplemental locks, so that’s the only security measure you have with your luggage.
The surface isn’t perfectly scratch-proof. It can easily be scuffed, but the glossy surface makes it easy to wipe off just as easily. The brushed pattern also hides imperfections if it does get scuffed or scratched.
The hard case is flexible as well, making it very capable of absorbing impact. The case pops easily back into shape when pressure is applied.
This Samsonite luggage is perfect for heavy packers. Its square design maximizes interior capacity. It is an expandable spinner for even more items. The interior has several pockets for organization, and cross-strap to keep your clothes in place.
This Samsonite luggage also comes in a three-piece luggage set if you want everything to be fully coordinated.
*Note: The Winfield 2 is still one of our favorite Samsonites ever, but there is a newer version of this luggage set. Check out our detailed comparison to see why we love both.
One of the most popular Samsonite carry-ons, the Samsonite Leverage LTE Softside is a great piece for business travelers.
It comes in charcoal black for serious travelers and blue and maroon for those who want a bit more fun. A great feature is the 360 spinner wheels that offer one of the smoothest rides of any suitcases you’ll ever find.
This Samsonite luggage is already an upgrade from many other popular Samsonite softside cases. It has improved rolling wheels and a more durable 400D x 360D Nylon exterior with both a weather-resistant coating and oil-resistant coating.
Not to mention the corner protection, which will help this case endure baggage handlers the world around.
The main handle has a deluxe, super comfy cushioning and long-lasting rubber seals on ours. Not to mention it is overall wider than most.
The interior of these bags is hard to beat. On the lid, it features a removable, interior zippered suiter and a WetPak for toiletries or wet clothing. In the main compartment, it has another pocket for smaller items, and it comes with a trifold suiter to protect business attire.
The main compartment is very roomy and can hold up to three days of clothing. It is also an expandable spinner, which is no surprise, so if you need to stuff more items inside, you can. It can still fit in the overhead compartment even when expanded.
This Samsonite suitcase comes with a top, side, and bottom carry handles for easier handling of the luggage with any orientation. Oh, and you can always get the complete luggage set if you need it.
The Etude is a great option if you need a large, checked suitcase. It is made from Makrolon Polycarbonate, a very sturdy material. It bends upon impact, and it’s actually pretty hard to break open a PC shell. It also has a TSA-friendly combination lock, which lets you secure the packing compartments.
This Samsonite luggage features double spinner wheels that allow for easy maneuvering of your luggage. And there’s the telescopic wheel handle, which locks into both extended and stored positions.
The wheel handle is entirely on the outside of the suitcase, and I love that. It means that you don’t have to deal with the tubes inside the main compartment, and it’s going to be much easier to pack your stuff.
And you will have plenty of space to do that, especially in the largest Etude. It has two packing compartments, one of which has a floating divider. The other compartment has a full panel zippered divider, and the two compartments have a total of four zippered pockets. This is pretty great for a hard side suitcase and allows for organized packing.
In addition to that, the floating divider is entirely removable; you can detach it from the suitcase compartment, pack everything you want in it and then reattach it again when you’re done.
This is pretty convenient, especially because you can attach a coat hanger head to it. Which allows you to hang this in your hotel room and have easy access to your necessities without unpacking your entire suitcase.
The capacity of the Etude is not expandable, and that’s pretty much the only thing I don’t really like about this particular Samsonite suitcase.
I’ve shown you several amazing softside Samsonite luggage so far. But my favorite without a doubt is the Aspire Xlite. If you’re looking specifically for a softside suitcase, you won’t have any regrets if you get this one.
We’re featuring the carry-on version here, but you should know that it’s available in a few other sizes as well, and you can also get a 3-piece set.
The Aspire Xlite is a lightweight suitcase made mostly from Polyester. It has four single spinner wheels, so it is an upright suitcase. Which is not that common for softside luggage.
This Samsonite luggage also has a telescopic wheel handle for easy maneuvering of your suitcase, as well as several grab handles. That includes a grab handle on the bottom of its body, so it’s really easy to pick it up and place it in the overhead compartment.
Another thing you will love about this suitcase is its expandable capacity. The packing compartment is pretty spacious even without the expandable capacity; it features elastic straps to keep your stuff in place and two pretty big zippered pockets.
One of those pockets is waterproof and designed to hold any wet items (Wetpak). Or your toiletries – it would be a lifesaver in case of a shampoo explosion.
On top of all that, you will also get two external compartments on this suitcase. They are really great for items you like to have handy and easy access; the smaller top pocket is just the right size to fit your ticket, boarding pass, and passport.
The Samsonite Centric is a humble hard-side suitcase that packs a punch. Like the ever-popular Omni, it is super affordable and loaded with features you will love.
It comes with 4 easy to roll spinner wheels, a TSA-friendly lock that only requires a combination, and a shell that is made from scratch-resistant Polycarbonate. Often you only find such material on more expensive cases, so having it on the Centric is a bonus. The pattern on the outside also means that it won’t show marks as easily and will look great for longer. Despite any rough treatment at the airport!
What more do you need in a suitcase? Well, it is also expandable, which is super-handy when you pack too much or buy too many gifts on your trip. And packing is very easy with the clamshell design. You have one compartment with elastic straps (I like to put larger items in there) and the other with a zippered mesh cover to keep everything in place.
There is also a small zippered pocket on the side for all those easy-to-lose items. Oh, and the easy-to-adjust telescopic handle makes it simple to whiz around the airport.
Zipperless suitcases are the safest type of luggage to travel with. It is really difficult for a thief to break into your suitcase since there’s no zipper they can break open. Zipperless luggage normally features latch closure, which is true for Samsonite S’Cure Spinner.
This particular suitcase actually has TSA-friendly latches, so that only TSA agents are able to open up your luggage.
The S’Cure Spinner has a shell made from Flowlite Polypropylene; a remarkably lightweight but durable material. It’s able to withstand torture from baggage handlers, which is why we recommend this suitcase in the checked bag size.
In addition to that, this hard side luggage has double spinner wheels that glide smoothly and quietly. With the help of the telescopic wheel handle, you will have zero issues maneuvering your suitcase through airport crowds.
And you can say goodbye to pain in your arms since spinner wheels mean that you never again have to tilt your suitcase just to get them rolling.
The interior of this Samsonite is divided into two packing compartments. One of them has a full panel zippered divider, and the other has a very unique set of elastic straps that keep your clothes in place. They cover almost the entire compartment so that your stuff really can’t budge an inch.
In addition to that, the compartment with the straps is not lined. This gives you just a little extra space, but it does mean that your clothes could pick up the scent of brand new suitcase plastic.
We love many things about this suitcase, but its price is by far our favorite thing. At only a little over $120, the S’Cure Spinner is not just super safe, it’s also extremely affordable. Especially for a Samsonite suitcase!
If you mostly go away on short business trips, you might not even need a suitcase. Consider getting an under-seat tote – they are really convenient for short trips, and they can fit all of your necessities for those few days.
The Wheeled Underseater is one of Samsonite’s best-selling pieces of luggage. It’s remarkably convenient for short travel since it is small enough to fit under the seat on any airline. But it’s still large enough that you can pack everything you need, and do it in an organized manner.
The interior of this bag features five pockets, one of which is a Wetpak. And the actual packing compartment is pretty spacious. The bag also has three external compartments, for items you want to have more easily accessible. And there are zippered pockets in those compartments.
Another great thing about this under-seater is that it has wheels. They are in-line skate wheels, so you will need to tilt the bag to get it rolling. But that shouldn’t be an issue, thanks to the telescopic wheel handle that locks into position when extended.
That handle can also be stored in its own compartment, which is very convenient for when you’re taking this bag in addition to other luggage. In those cases, I think you will find the luggage strap in the back extremely helpful; it lets you secure this bag on top of a larger suitcase, for effortless moving around the airport.
Plus, the Wheeled Underseater by Samsonite also features a pair of grab handles that allow you to carry this like an actual tote. It’s a great piece of hard side luggage with a surprisingly affordable price tag and an absolute must for frequent flyers.
Perhaps you’re wondering what’s the best duffel bag by Samsonite? That would have to be the Andante Wheeled duffel. It’s spacious, lightweight, and made from water-resistant polyester.
The price of the duffel varies according to the color you choose, but you can get it for as low as some $36, which is pretty amazing for Samsonite luggage.
The bag features a large U-zip opening, which gives you easy access to all your stuff. This also makes packing super simple and lets you organize all of your items however you like. Oh, and the numerous pockets will also help you with that.
One thing I really like about this duffel is that it has wheels. The in-line skate wheels are protected by shock suspension housing, and they roll pretty smoothly. There’s also an extendable wheel handle, which has its own compartment that you can store it in.
There is also a pair of grab handles at the center of this bag, which is held together with Velcro. Their positioning is great because it helps with weight distribution.
In addition to all that, this bag also features lockable zippers, so you can have some peace of mind while you’re traveling. This is going to come in handy if you’re traveling by bus or train and have to part with your luggage at one point.
However, I would not recommend this duffel for air travel; it’s too large to be accepted as a carry-on, and not durable enough to survive the tough love of baggage handlers when checked. But it is a great option for pretty much all other means of travel.
If you’re more of a rugged traveler going through different terrains, or literally a backpacker, the Samsonite Tectonic 2 Large Backpack is your best bet.
This rugged backpack is made of polyester and ballistic nylon exterior for extra strength and durability. While it’s not water-resistant or waterproof, the pockets and compartments are all lined to keep your items from getting soaked.
It also retails under $100, so you get a great bag from a great brand without the hefty price.
The padded and contoured dual-density shoulder straps also provide much-needed comfort while carrying a heavy bag.
The back also has padding for comfort and has a smart sleeve to secure it to a luggage handle. It comes with several pockets for organization.
At the very back is a drop-in compartment that will fit a 17-inch laptop. A quick-access top pocket fits small items that you’ll need all the time such as cash, cards, or earphones.
The front pocket is for tablets or iPads plus other essential items such as pens and a power bank. The packing space is roomy and has more compartments and organizers to keep your items in place.
On the sides, there is a pocket for a water bottle and a tricot-lined sunglasses pocket. If the bag is too hefty for you, it also comes in a medium size.
