The blade comes with a sharp tip, serrated and plain edge, plus a line cutter to boot. This means that whatever you are faced with while scuba diving, this knife has the tool for the job. There is even a hammer on the handle for crushing or breaking things.

The sheath is excellent, the handle is grippy, and the blade is sharp, but does need honing out of the box.

As far as dive knives go, this dive knife is pretty incredible and the fact that it is made from titanium and is so affordable makes it an amazing value for money. It will last for years and years!

The best dive knife on the market, in my opinion, is the Scubapro Mako Titanium Dive Knife. Again, being made from titanium, the blade is a lot tougher than stainless steel and therefore will survive much longer in salty conditions, even without any care.

The blade features everything you need from a sharp tip to a serrated and plain cutting edge, plus a line cutter and there is even a bottle opener/hammer on the bottle of the handle. You will be able to easily cut line, wire, rope, and be able to ward off any over interested predators too!

The handle on these dive knives is designed to make life easy and the sheath has a very reliable one touch locking mechanism. This makes accessing and using your dive knife very simple and effective.

This is also a compact diving knife that is light and mounts comfortably anywhere using the included mounting gear.

The only downside to this awesome dive knife is that it is a bit expensive but considering the quality and long lasting durability, it is worth every penny.

Cressi Skorpion Knife

If you are shopping for dive knives on a tight budget then the Cressi Skorpion Knife will be right up your street. These dive knives are built from quality stainless steel, are great at cutting, very affordable, and all you need to do is take care of them so they last.

The blade on this dive knife is made from AISI 304 steel which means it has a very sharp edge but only resists corrosion to a point. Just give it a freshwater rinse, dry it off, and lubricate it after each dive and it will never fail you.

Another of our favorite scuba knives that didn’t quite make into the top 3 is the XS Scuba FogCutter X Knife.

This fixed blade compact knife comes with a quality 420 stainless steel Chromate blade that is tough as nails, very sharp, and has a feature no other knife featured has. The blade actually opens so you can use it as shears/scissors, which makes cutting lines very easy.

The blade is also partially serrated, has a line cutting notch, a straight edge, and a hammer to boot. It is safe to say this knife has scuba divers covered no matter the situation and you can choose to have it as a sharp or blunt tip.

The secure grip is easy to use and built from fiberglass-reinforced nylon for durability. It also includes rubber straps and a sheath so you can add it to your scuba gear with ease. Just be sure to tether it to your scuba gear or sheath as it can release from the sheath on its own.

Tusa x-Pert II Titanium Knife

Tusa x-Pert II Titanium Dive Knife is another great knife for any scuba diver who likes to own top-quality diving equipment that lasts.

Being made from top-quality titanium, it is tough as nails and great for diving or spear fishing but it is a tad expensive. You can put it in your BCD pocket or use the sheath and straps to strap it on to you.

The sheath is excellent, very reliable, and with one touch of a button, the knife is released for use. The ergonomic grip makes working underwater easily and the blade has all the features you need for all occasions.

Spyderco Atlantic Folding Dive Knife

The Spyderco Atlantic Folding Dive Knife is a bit different from all the other knives featured as it is a foldable knife. The folding design means you can not use leg straps with it and you will have to use the titanium pocket clip to secure it in your BCD pocket.

Since the knife folds, it can be a challenge to open underwater but once open, it is deadly sharp with a blunt tip. Once open, the lock mechanism holds it in place for serious cutting and being built from LC200N steel it is extremely resistant to rust.

It is missing some features most divers would like though such as a line cutter and a serrated edge, but it is super light and great for use in and out of the water.

Cressi Lima Tactical Knife

The Cressi Lima Tactical Knife is the most affordable scuba knife featured in the article and it is pretty good quality considering the price.

The blade is sharp, tough, and made from 304 Japanese Stainless Steel meaning it will last. But, it doesn’t like salt water that much and will require care after each dive to keep it in good condition.

It has all the features divers need when diving including a serrated and plain edge, line cutter, and a sharp tip. It also comes with a quality sheath with a lanyard, be sure to use the lanyard as the locking mechanism isn’t that reliable.

Overall this is a good option as a first knife as it has a firm grip for easy cutting, is very affordable, and teaches about maintenance too.

Aqua Lung Argonaut Titanium Diving Knife

The Aqua Lung Argonaut Titanium Diving Knife is the most expensive knife in the review and this is because the entire knife is made from titanium, from the handle all the way to the tip.

The titanium is also EDP coated and is 4 mm thick, creating a very powerful knife that is also maintenance-free. Salt water will not do anything to this knife!

The blade comes with a plain and serrated side for multiple uses and the handle base can be used for smashing too. The handle is wrapped in paracord to create a comfortable grip but this will fray over time and need replacing.

Atomic Aquatics Ti6 Knife

The Atomic Aquatics Ti6 Knife is another amazing dive knife that is also made from titanium and is pretty expensive too. It is as tough as they come and will last forever with care but is quite expensive.

The blade has all the features divers need to cut anything they find underwater and it is very sharp too. Combined with the excellent grip you can get some serious cutting done while you are diving.

The knife comes with a reliable sheath that locks well and straps for an arm mounting but they are not quite big enough for your thighs.

Cressi Borg Long Blade Diving Knife

The Cressi Borg Long Blade Diving Knife is one of the larger knives featured and is built from quality 304 Japanese stainless steel.

The blade is sharp, easy to use thanks to the grip, and has all the right parts from a serrated section to a line cutter plus a hammer on the handle. You can cut anything you need to while diving with this.

It comes with a reliable sheath you can easily mount too but the blade itself does need care so be sure to rinse and oil it after each dive or it will corrode.
