The Hopopower sling backpack is a great budget EDC bag. It retails for about $25, and it’s a really good bag for that price point. This bag has a total capacity of 20 liters, which is quite enough for an everyday carry bag. And with multiple compartments, pockets, and external attachments point, you’ll easily stay organized!

This sling pack is made from high density nylon, for excellent durability and abrasion resistance. And it is supposed to be waterproof, so your items inside should stay dry regardless of how much it rains outside. However, I’d advise you to still be cautious in heavy rain – the zippers aren’t waterproof, and water can still seep in through them.

It features thick padding in the backpanel and shoulder strap, for great carrying comfort. There is also a ventilated insert on the backpanel, which will help keep you cool and dry during sweaty summer days. Plus, the ventilated insert doubles as a hidden sleeve – great for items you want to have easily accessible but protected at the same time.

The sleeve can actually fit a pistol, making this an excellent EDC bag for heading to the shooting range. And there’s more than enough space for ammo and accessories in all the other pockets and compartments of the bag.

The shoulder straps are covered with breathable mesh for good ventilation, but the backpanel is not. And the harness is equipped with a hip belt and a sternum strap, so it should be easy to move around with the backpack even when it is filled to capacity.

This EDC bag has two large compartments and two external zippered pockets. They are all equipped with internal pockets and organizers, so you won’t have any issues keeping your gear neatly arranged. And there’s even a hidden hydration compartment just behind the backpanel, with a top hole that allows a hose to pass through.

The SOG backpack is one of the best EDC backpacks you can buy. But it is also more expensive than the rest of the bags features here, which is why I didn’t include it at the top. If you can afford to spend about $100 on an EDC bag, then definitely consider getting this one – especially if you’re looking for a large capacity bag that you can take anywhere.

The thing that’s special about this backpack is that it features laser-cut MOLLE panels. These are slightly more durable than the classic ones, and they can actually hold more gear.

This EDC pack has a very spacious main compartment with an organizer panel inside. There are two other compartments on the bag, as well as a hidden side-access laptop compartment that can also be used for a hydration bladder. In general, this is a great pack for those of you who want to stay organized, thanks to the abundance of internal pockets.

Another thing I love about the SOG bag is how comfortable it feels. The backpanel features thick padding, and there’s also a 2mm PE sheet for suspension. This helps distribute the weight of the backpack more evenly, so you don’t actually feel it in your shoulders and back.

In addition to that, this pack also has a sternum strap that doubles as an emergency whistle. And there are hyperon zinger tabs on either side of the sternum strap – these let you carry even more items, and they’re especially good for stuff you want to have accessible at all times.
