Start your journey off on Hamilton Ave heading toward Franklin Street. Make a left on to Canal Blvd. Take the Ramp toward RT-29 S and merge on to NJ-129 S. After a few miles the road will become I-195 E. After 6 miles take exit 6 which will take you on to I-95, stay left to take the Newark/New York exit. From there you will stay to the right to stay on I-95 N. After a little over 30 miles you will merge on to I-78 E and stay on there until you reach 12th street. Turn right on to 12th street and follow it down. It will become Boyle PLZ and then the Holland Tunnel. After the tunnel take exit 5 toward Canal Street E. Make a right onto Laight Street. From there turn right on to Canal and then make a left on Elizabeth. Turn right again on Grand Street and quickly make another right on to Chrystie. From here you just have to turn right on to Canal Street and follow it right in to Chinatown for your visit.
Follow I-78 until you reach exit 58. Take exit 58B and then stay to the left to get on to US-19 N. As you follow the road it will become NJ-139 E. and then 12th Street. Follow the road through the Holland Tunnel at which point you will take exit 5 toward Canal Street. From there you just take a left on to Elizabeth, and a right on to Grand. Take another right on to Chrystie and then a right on to Canal and you will be in Chinatown very shortly.
Follow I-80 until you reach exit 47A this exit will bring you on to I-280 E. and you will stay on there until you reach exit 17A about 2 miles later. Follow CR-508 and it will become NJ-7E and then US-19. From 19 merge on to 139 E. Follow this road until you go through Holland Tunnel. You will then take exit 5. From this exit there is a series of short sharp turns that take you to Chinatown. Make a right on to Laight Street. Now turn right onto Canal and left on to Elizabeth. Make a right on to Chrystie and another right on to Canal. Follow Canal right in to Chinatown.
