It is built in 2010, in a traditional Chinese architectural style called a paifang.
Ottawa Asian Fest Night is the capital’s biggest Night Market and Ottawa Chinatown’s biggest draws of the summer.
This 3 day event brings in chefs and vendors from the Ottawa and Toronto area since 2015.
With humble beginnings as a small Chinese New Year festival at the EY Centre, the event has grown in size each year and has currently found a home at Ottawa’s Chinatown with the Royal Gateway as the festival’s backdrop.
This annual parade and festival celebrates Chinese New Year with lion dancers, Chinese drummers, and a wide variety of Asian food, ranging from pho to dim sum.
