The Albany luggage collection from Ted Baker is awesome because it is made from recycled polyester. It’s much more sustainable than similar but cheaper luggage, and that’s always an important factor, at least for me.
This collection of luggage includes nine pieces, from a small vanity case to a large checked suitcase. I’ll focus on the carry-on suitcase here, but just know that you have a bunch of other size and shape options if you like the design of Albany luggage.
In addition to the R-PET construction, the case also features smooth double-spinner wheels, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and a TSA-friendly lock. The luggage features a zippered closure but it does not offer expandable capacity.
The interior of the Albany suitcase is fully lined and equipped with adjustable compression panels. There are three zippered pockets inside plus two large open pockets, so you should be able to keep everything neatly organized inside. Also, there’s another zippered pocket on the front of the luggage, which is excellent for items you want to keep easily accessible at the airport.
The Anvilo suitcase from Ted Baker is probably the prettiest suitcase I’ve ever seen. The contrast between the black color of the shell and the floral print on the front is absolutely stunning, and the luggage is perfect for travelers who don’t want to own a boring suitcase. This will stand out everywhere, so it’s perfect for checked luggage.
The case is made from pure polycarbonate, for excellent durability and impact resistance. That’s a very flexible material that does not break easily and is usually used in high-end and luxury suitcases.
The Anvilo luggage also boasts double spinner wheels, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and zippered closure with a TSA-approved lock. There are also gold accents all over the case, including the telescoping handle barrels and the mounts of the top and side grab handles.
This suitcase doesn’t have the expandable capacity, but that’s okay because it makes it that much harder for you to overpack the bag and incur additional fees. The interior is divided into two packing compartments with a zippered divider in the top compartment and tie-down straps in the bottom one. There are also two zippered pockets inside the suitcase, for safekeeping of the smallest items.
The Ted Baker Flying Colors suitcase is a great option if you’re prioritizing weight over all other features. This luggage is made from polypropylene, so it’s incredibly lightweight. The material is not quite as durable as polycarbonate, but it is more durable than ABS and lighter than any other material used in the manufacturing of hardside luggage.
Also, this suitcase features a textured shell, which is great for hiding scuffs and scratches. It’s got double spinner wheels, a TSA-approved combination lock, a height-adjustable wheel handle, and even a convenient USB port for charging on the go.
The interior of this Ted Baker luggage is even better than the exterior because it features a colorful lining with a world map print. The left compartment is equipped with a full panel divider, while the right compartment features a pair of tie-down straps. There’s only one zippered pocket inside, which isn’t ideal for travelers who prefer keeping their luggage organized.
However, I have to point out that this particular suitcase is also available in a Business Trolley version. It’s also a hardside carry-on, but it has an additional front compartment with an organizer panel. Other available sizes of the Flying Colors luggage are a 25” medium case and a 28” large checked case.
In my opinion, the Ted Baker Belle suitcase is the prettiest piece of luggage that exists on our planet. I love pink luggage, and if it has rose gold accents, I’m absolutely sold on it. But the pretty design is hardly the only good thing about this suitcase, so let’s get into the details.
The Belle luggage is manufactured from polycarbonate, a high-quality material with great flexibility and excellent impact resistance. The luggage is lightweight and durable, but it is not very scratch-resistant.
The rose gold accents are incorporated throughout all the features of this suitcase – they’re on the double spinner wheels, the barrels of the height-adjustable wheel handle, and even on the zipper pullers that can be secured with the TSA-approved lock.
The interior of the Belle luggage is fully lined and features two packing compartments with zippered dividers. The top compartment has an opaque divider with two zippered pockets on it, while the bottom compartment boasts a zippered mesh divider with internal tie-down straps. There’s an extra zippered pocket in the bottom compartment as well, for easy organization.
The Ted Baker vanity case is from the same collection as the Anvilo suitcase. It’s made from durable polycarbonate and boasts a beautiful floral print on the shell. The luggage features a convenient trolley sleeve in the back as well as a detachable shoulder strap that allows you to carry it like a messenger bag.
It doesn’t have wheels or a telescoping handle, which is both good and bad. The advantage of this design is that the case is small and lightweight while offering a generous packing capacity for a bag its size. The disadvantage is that you can carry the case in your hands, on your shoulders, or on top of another suitcase, which isn’t as convenient as wheeling it around.
This is a great option if you want a mini suitcase that can function as a personal item. It’s small enough to fit under most airplane seats, and it’s spacious enough for trips that are 2-3 days long.
The interior of the vanity case boasts two separate compartments with a padded divider in each of them. There are also zippered pockets on one of the dividers for easy organization, so overall it’s not a bad option if you’re using it in addition to a standard carry-on.
If you’re not sure which of these Ted Baker suitcases to choose, go with one of my top picks depending on what kind of luggage you want.
If you’re in the market for a softshell suitcase, the Albany is your only option. Ted Baker doesn’t do a lot of softside suitcases, and this is their main collection that’s available in nine different sizes. The luggage is made from recycled polyester, it’s got spinner wheels, a TSA lock, and a height-adjustable wheel handle, as well as internal pockets, tie-down straps, and an external zippered compartment.
The Belle luggage is without a doubt my top pick for Ted Baker’s hardside luggage. I’m sold on the pink color and rose gold accents, but I also really like the polycarbonate construction and the organizational features inside the suitcase. The luggage also features spinner wheels, a TSA-approved lock, and a stage-adjustable wheel handle for maximum convenience.
