Yes, you can make calls with an eSIM. You can either call directly while using the eSIM if it is included or you can make calls using VOIP or an App like Whatsapp or Facetime.

ESIMs with Calls Included

Some eSIMs act the same as SIMs and include everything: calls, texts and data.

If you have moved your mobile plan from SIM to eSIM then this will be the case and you can call.

Some travel ESIMs like the ones from Orange or O2 for Europe also include calls and texts, so you can call as you normally would with their ESIMs.

Calling on an ESIMs without Calls Included

If the eSIM you are using does not have calls included, then you will need to use data to call. This means using
