In all honesty, I have no idea how this excellent tall adult sleeping bag is so affordable, as it pretty much performs across the board.

The sleeping bag is made from a durable water-resistant shell with coletherm hollow polyester insulation.

It is tough, long-lasting, and will keep you toasty down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit with ease. The thermolock draft tube and dense hood also ensure heat is retained and not lost while you’re sleeping.

Sleeping inside this is super comfy thanks to the soft lining and it only gets better with a sleeping pad. Thanks to it being a tall and wide sleeping bag, it is perfect for larger people up to 6ft 6 inches tall to have a great night’s sleep.

The only issue with this sleeping bag is that it is bulky and heavy, so it is not great for backpacking but is awesome for car camping.

Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass 15 Sleeping Bag

The Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass 15 Sleeping Bag is the best wide sleeping bag around in my opinion as it does what many sleeping bags of this kind can not be lightweight, packable, and portable.

This is also a sleeping bag that is designed for cold weather and will keep you warm down to a temperature rating of 15 Fahrenheit. This is thanks to the 850 Fill down insulation, the water-resistant shell, and the mummy bag design.

It is a very comfortable sleeping bag that is soft on your skin and leaves some wiggle room for you to move around in while you sleep. It does stay close to your body to retain heat though, so don’t expect it to be baggy.

Another great thing I love about this sleeping bag is that you can join it to another MH sleeping bag to make a double-wide sleeping bag.

If you and your partner go camping a lot, I’d suggest buying two of these sleeping bags so each of you has one and can use a double sleeping bag whenever you like.

The Kelty Tru Comfort Double Wide Sleeping Bag 20 is my favorite double sleeping bag around. It allows two people to sleep together comfortably while letting each person adjust their sleeping settings, which most double sleeping bags don’t do.

The top layer of this sleeping bag zips off entirely or can be configured to each individual’s needs. One can have their feet stick out the bottom while the other has their side zipped up. How cool is that!

The outer shell is durable and repels water while the insulation ensures a temperature rating of down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. You might be a little cold at 20, but will be fine at 30.

It is super comfortable to sleep in, spacious for two people has a hood for pillows, and it is soft and bouncy too. To top it all off, it is as durable as they come and includes a lifetime warranty.

The only downside it has that all double sleeping bags have is that it is heavy and bulky. This means it is great for a car camping adventure, but its generous dimensions make it very hard to take backpacking.

The Coleman Big Game Cold-Weather Big and Tall Sleeping Bag is another excellent wide and tall adult sleeping bag.

The Coleman Big Game sleeping bag looks like an old-school bed roll and it rolls up like one too.

It is made with a cotton lining that is soft on your skin, and a polyester outer shell that repels water and is cushioned for added comfort, but it is most comfy with sleeping pads.

The sleeping bag is made for cold weather and comes with a temperature rating of -5 degrees Fahrenheit. This is higher than most temperature ratings, especially considering it doesn’t have a hood.

I wouldn’t use this at extreme temperatures if I were you but it can handle the cold.

It is a very spacious sleeping bag that is made for people up to 6ft 7inches tall, and there is extra room to be able to move around in your sleep too.

Overall, this is great for camping with a car but it is big, heavy, and bulky to carry around in a backpack.

It features a durable build that lasts, along with great insulation and it is made to be wide and long for larger campers. There is lots of space to move around in this sleeping bag, it is soft and comfortable to sleep in too.

You would expect a sleeping bag of this size to be heavy but it is not. It weighs just over 4 lbs so can be used for backpacking but it is quite bulky to add to your pack.

There is, however, a problem with this sleeping bag. The bottom layer is thin and without a good sleeping pad, you will get chilly in cold weather.

The Teton Sports Tracker Ultralight Double Wide Sleeping Bag is a great double sleeping bag for a couple who likes to go camping during the warmer months.

These sleeping bags come with a +5ºF temperature rating but there are reports of being cold at 50ºF, so test it out before going into cold conditions.

What I love about these sleeping bags is that they come with two hoods, one for each person so their head stays warm. Also, the foot box is built with extra insulation and space so you can move around in your sleep with ease.

There is a lot of space for two people in this sleeping bag with room to move. It is soft on your skin, super comfortable, and squishes down quite small in the stuff sack.

It is, however, heavy and bulky for backpacking with and you won’t want to hike very far to your campsite with it.

Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 20 Sleeping Bag

The Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 20 Sleeping Bags are an excellent choice if you are a taller but skinny camper. These are not very wide but they are long and if you are 6ft 6 inches tall, you will still be comfortable inside them.

It is made from 100% recycled materials from the durable water-repellent outer shell to the HL-Elixr Eco Micro insulation.

The insulation does a great job of keeping you warm and will do so comfortably down to temperatures of 32.2 degrees F making it great for 3 seasons.

These sleeping bags pack down small into their stuff sack and weigh just 2 lbs 9 oz and are therefore great for hiking to your campsite with.

Extra features like the anti Snag zipper with a draft blocker, the roomy foot box, and the hood ensure cold air is kept out while you sleep too. To top it all off, this is a very affordable option for the quality you are getting.

The Exped MegaSleep Duo 25/40 Double Sleeping Bag is a double sleeping bag in lots of different ways. Not only is there enough space for 2 people but it also comes with two temperature ratings, and you can turn it into 2 single sleeping bags.

The dark blue side up is warmer (25°F temperature rating), the light blue side up is for being colder (40°F), and you can make a 25°F or a 40°F sleeping bag by separating them.

The concept is excellent but when it comes down to it, it doesn’t quite perform as it should.

The temperature rating of 25°F for one side and 40°F on the other isn’t quite true and these suit being more at 50°F. If you camp at a temperature of 50°F and above this is an awesome sleeping bag.

Aside from the incorrect temperature ratings, this is a durable, comfortable, and spacious wide sleeping bag that is also pretty packable and portable. It is great for camping in temperatures of 50°F and up.

The Coleman Autumn Glen 30 Big & Tall Bag makes you feel like you are in your own bed as it is so dense and wraps you up so nicely.

It is made to be wide and long for larger campers and there is more than enough space to roll around as you sleep. Built from polyester with a lot of filling with a super soft inner, this is a delight to sleep in.

The sleeping bag is well made, long-lasting, and comes with a 5-Year limited warranty in case anything should go wrong.

While this sleeping bag is rated to temperatures of 30°F, without a hood and draft blockers, I wouldn’t use it in super cold temperatures if I was you. It is great for mid-spring to mid-fall, and being so bulky means you won’t want to hike too far to camp.

You can fully unzip the sleeping bag to make two comforters for sitting around the campfire. It stuffs neatly into a stuff sack, and it is so durable that it comes with a lifetime warranty.

It is built for warmer temperatures of Spring to Fall, plus it is very heavy and bulky, so it is not for backpacking.
