One of the things I love about this hammock (and all other hammocks) is how versatile they are. You can just set it up and lie in it all day long, but you don’t have to. You can it is as a sort of a couch, where two people can comfortably sit on it.

You could also use it as a storage space and just put all of your things on it. So, say you are going camping with a group of friends. You all have at least one backpack, and maybe it’s raining or muddy outside and you don’t want to put those backpacks on the ground. Well, with the hammock you don’t have to. How To Set Up The Hammock And What To Pay Attention To

The straps that you attach to the tree are quite long, so you don’t really need the trees to be too close together. And everything is adjustable, which is one of the things that make this hammock so versatile.

When you are setting up the hammock, the main thing you need to pay attention to is that the straps around the trees are tight enough. If they are not tightly wrapped around the tree, they could slide down the tree trunk, which basically means that the hammock won’t stay up. And there’s nothing cool about getting in the hammock and then just flying down to the ground.

The next thing you should also consider is the hanging height of the hammock. If the straps are too loose then the hammock will also be too loose. And, when you get in it, your weight will pull it all the way down and you will basically be lying on the ground. And that is not comfortable at all. So, to avoid that, make sure that these straps are also tight enough.

Even if they seem too tight in the beginning, remember that this material is stretchy and it adapts to your body. And it’s definitely better to have it a little more above ground than to actually feel the ground with your behind. :>

You should also be careful about where you set up the hammock. So, if you found two trees that are perfectly distant but there is a huge puddle in between them, don’t set it up there. You will relax so much in the Castaway hammock that you will forget all about that puddle. And then, when you try to get out of it, you are in for a nasty surprise.

And that’s about it. The hammock is pretty easy to set up, as you saw in the video. And you won’t really know how tight you need everything to be until you’ve actually tied it to the trees. Just pay attention to the things I mentioned, and you will be able to set it up perfectly anywhere.
