How to Check if eSIM is Activated in iPhone

Wondering if your eSIM is activated on your iPhone?

Here are a few simple steps to checking eSIM activation:

• Open the “Settings” App on your iPhone
• Tap on the “Cellular” or “Mobile Data” Menu
• Scroll down to “SIMs” and locate your plan by name
• It should be active with the status “On”

Note: When you activated your eSIM you gave it a name such as Business, Travel etc. This is the name you are looking for.

If you are not sure if your eSIM is active on your iPhone you can

• check for the plan by name on your Control Center in the top left (See image below). Normally it is the second plan in the list.

• Check if you have a special icon for your mobile data in the top right. It will show a split two-layer series of bars instead of the normal ones. (see image below)
