Strawberry Festival

The Kimmswick Strawberry Festival has grown into the second-largest festival in Kimmswick. Only the Apple Butter Festival in October is larger.

During the 1st weekend in June, Kimmswick is overflowing with strawberries. If it is made with strawberries you will find it at this festival. Everything from Fresh Strawberries, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, and Strawberry Cheesecake, to Strawberry Iced Tea and Strawberry Wine.

Craft and food vendors line the streets as live entertainers perform in several areas throughout town. There is even an area filled with rides for the kids. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy and help Kick-Off the Kimmswick Festival Season.

The 7th Annual Kimmswick Bluegrass Festival will be playing both days in the park area.

Additional attractions include a petting zoo, train rides, pony rides, bounce houses, small children’s rides, games for the kids, face painters, and caricature artists.

The town will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at around 8:30am until 5pm. Visitors may park at the Windsor School and catch a shuttle bus into town. The buses will start running at 8am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday and continue throughout the day shuttling visitors to-and-from the parking area at Windsor School. Parking will also be available off of Highway K and is just a short walking distance into town. There will be no shuttles running on this route.
