Boosted Board Extended Range Battery (Is It Worth It?)

The Boosted Board is probably the best electric skateboard out there. But, as you probably know, the range on the standard battery kinda sucks.

Boosted Board states that their Standard Range battery will get you around 6 miles.

But now we have the Extended Range Battery, which can get you around 12-14 miles, or double the standard battery for a boosted board.

And is it really worth the extra money?

If you ask me, to save you from running out of juice while cruising on your new favorite toy – it’s kind of a no-brainer!

It will ship in January 2018. You don’t have to pay for it till it ships either! Sweet deal, huh?

And given that the board is going to run you about $1500 anyway, the extra $199 that it costs for the extended battery right now (with the discount) is cheap as chips (as we say in Australia! because chips are very cheap, right?).

Of course, you can always buy and fit the extended battery at a later date, if you want. But, you are going to pay full price for it, which looks like it will run about $399. If the discount at the moment from Boosted Board is anything to go by.
