The Lowlands blanket from Yeti features a two-layer construction The top layer is made from 65% Polyester and 35% Rayon, so it’s softer than the bottom layer. It’s more comfortable out of the two layers and designed so that it feels soft when you’re sitting on it. The bottom layer is made entirely from polyester and it is 100% waterproof.

Because of the two-layer construction, it’s important that you always place the waterproof layer at the bottom, especially if you’re using it on wet ground. Also, the top layer is much softer and more comfortable and it feels better against the skin.

Rumpl blankets are generally cheaper and have some similar features to the Yeti Lowlands, but they don’t repel dirt or pet hair, so keep that in mind.
