Bosnia and Herzegovina: Best eSim For Easy Internet Access

I have been using Maya for the last couple of months because their packages are very competitive. Here are their 30-day plans in Bosnia:

No, Bosnia is not the cheapest country to get data in and you can see from the ESIM prices that you might want to reduce your data usage!

If you need more data while in the country you can easily top it up. Or you can have a running monthly plan if you are there for a few months.

They offer some great features many others neglect like

Airalo

Airalo has very affordable Bosnia ESIM plans that you should definitely consider. They are around $3 per GB which is very affordable when compared to many of their competitors.

Airalo is a very simple and reliable EIMS provider for Bosnia. I have used them in lots of different countries. It just takes minutes to buy or top up an ESIM and install it. Especially if you use their App, which makes it so simple it’s scary!

I have literally sat down at the border of a new country, selected a package, installed it and then activated it across the border once I have network access. Minutes!

aloSIM

Not as well known as Airalo but a big up-and-coming ESIM provider for Bosnia is aloSIM.

They are actually comparable in price to Airalo making them also the cheapest Bosnian eSIM providers on this list, coming in at $3-4 per GB on the largest plan.

Their plans are priced as follows

Nomad

Esims can get a little confusing with Nomad because they often have two types of plans with the same size. One mixed carrier plan (prices shown below) and a more expensive best single carrier plan – this time with One in Montenegro.

So, Nomad has some of the cheapest prices, but the more expensive plans are with the best carrier. So you can decide what you want. If you are in a city, then it usually does not matter, but Montenegro is sparsely populated and we found a lot of spots in the mountains where reception was patchy.

Nomad’s prepaid eSIM plans for Montenegro include:

• 3 GB/15 Days – $15
• 5 GB/30 Days – $20
• 10 GB/30 Days – $35

I have used Nomad plans a lot while traveling in Europe and they are definitely reliable and easy to use. It is just a matter of finding the cheapest eSIM for you. And as always, I recommend doing everything via the App so that you can monitor your usage and top up when you need to.

Holafly

Holafly only has one Bosnia ESIM plan and it is not very competitive. They usually have great deals on unlimited data ESIMs in Europe, but in this case they don’t.

Their Bosnia eSIM is for 6 GB for 15 days. It costs $34 which is a little on the pricey side too at $5.6 per GB.

So, if you are in Montenegro, I would go with one of the other providers in this case.
