Kimmswick hosts several family fun-filled festivals throughout the year. Here are the main ones worth checking out and which month they are in.
Every year on Palm Sunday Kimmswick is host to hundreds of children for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
The festival season gets its official start the 1st full weekend in June with the Strawberry Festival. If you love strawberries then this is the festival for you.
The last weekend in October is our famous Apple Butter Festival. This is the largest festival in Jefferson County and draws over 100,000 visitors over the 2 day weekend.
The holiday season in Kimmswick kicks off with the Christmas Preview the Saturday before Thanksgiving. All of the shops will be open late serving refreshments and showcasing their unique gift ideas.
The Kimmswick festivals wrap-up the 1st full weekend in December with Christmas in Kimmswick. Journey back to a time gone by with horse-drawn carriage rides and strolling carolers.

Participating merchants will be handing out flowers or a special gift to all mothers who stop in on Mother’s Day weekend.
