Maya Mobile in Sweden has some affordable eSIMs for your travels. Where they excel, though, is with the unlimited data eSIM for Sweden for only $2.3 per day. Not only is this a good deal compared to Holafly (if you need 30 days) they also allow you to share your data via tethering or hotspots.
They also give you their European Unlimited data package for 10-180 days for the same price, so if you are moving around in Europe, it’s a great deal.
Here is a quick overview of their offers:
NOTE: CURRENTLY 20% OFF
So, their per GB prepaid eSIMs are more expensive than Airalo, and their mobile providers are 3 and Tele2, with only 4G. But, for most of us, this is fast enough to work from.

Holafly is the eSIM provider in Sweden if you want unlimited data for just yourself. They have huge range of plans from 5 days to 3 months, with the biggest package only costing $1 per data for data.
Holafly’s Sweden unlimited data plans include:
You can only share 500MB of data a day, which may disappoint some of you. But for most, unlimited data on your phone alone is great. But, if you want to be able to share, then you should check out Maya Mobile instead.
Holafly Sweden eSIMs offer you access to a broad range of mobile companies including: Telia Company AB/, 3 Sweden and Tele2 AB. This helps ensure a great connection, anywhere you go – Stockholm, Malmo or further in the north.

Airalo Vän is their Sweden eSIMs for prepaid data. You know with Airalo you are going to get great network speeds (more below) and a good range of data packages between 1-20 GB at very reasonable prices. They are usually the first brand I head to if I just want a few GB for a trip.
Here is the full list of their Sweden eSIMs:
Airalo Sweden eSIMs use two of Sweden’s top networks: Telenor and Tele2. The latter uses 5G, so you will get some great speeds.
They also allow you to share data via hotspots or tethering, so it is perfect for families and those working in Sweden.

The Nomad Sweden eSIMs are another option you can check out if you still have not found what you need.
They also sell prepaid eSIMs for Sweden by the GB and don’t offer unlimited data. What they do have though is two options for GB level. Apparently, it is a variety of different providers for each, one a little better than the other.
Below are the cheapest Swedish eSIMs from Nomad:
Honestly, I have used Nomad a lot in the past when the other eSIM providers don’t have anything affordable or any options, but usually, Airalo or Maya are the ones I would choose.

Orange eSIMs are also handy for anyone traveling to Sweden who also needs calls and texts and may want to cross a border or two.
The biggest Orange Holiday eSIM plan includes
It’s certainly not the most affordable at $49.90 (which is around $2.5 per GB), but if you want access to a local phone number in Europe, this is one of your best bets outside of Holafly. Who doesn’t allow you to text!
Orange also has a cheaper option called Zen Holiday from Orange. This includes only 8 GB of data for $29.90.

Ubigi is renowned for their regional eSIM packages. And for Sweden eSIMs they have Scandinavia packages, as well as European ones that are worth your time if you are traveling a bit further.
For example, their Scandinavia & Baltics package includes
These packages include the following countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden
Another option they have is 27 European countries plus the UK and Switzerland. And that eSIM data package is also decent at just
There are lots of options to choose from, including USA & Europe too. So, if you are moving around the planet or just part of it, then Ubigi eSIMs are a great option for covering your journey.
In case you are not up with eSIMs, here is a quick explanation.
An eSIM is a small chip inside your phone or device that is a digital SIM card. Unlike the SIM cards you physically insert or remove from your phone, an eSIM can be programmed remotely.
This means you can switch carriers or plans without needing to get a new physical SIM card, making it more convenient when you are traveling or changing service providers.
A Sweden eSIM will give you a whole range of benefits you can’t even imagine. I use eSIMs all the time when I travel. And there are few exceptions to this rule (only countries where there are few eSIMs on offer).
So, what are the benefits of an eSIM for your trip to Sweden:
We have a convenient list of phones or devices that are eSIM compatible. Here are a few just to give you an idea:

Samsung:
On top of that, second generation Google Pixel phones onward.

Knowing how much data you need for a trip to Sweden depends on a lot of factors.
So, rather than try to make you sweat, we have given a few simple examples below to help you know roughly what you will need.
If you’re on a short trip and you only want to check directions on maps and access social media and emails, you will only need 1-3 GB of data, especially if you have WiFi in your accommodation.
If you are a heavier user and do any of the following regularly
Then unlimited data is a good option, or at the very least 20 GB for a few days might be enough.
Yes, eSIM is definitely available in Sweden. You can easily purchase an eSIM from any of the major providers like Holafly, Airalo, Maya and Nomad before you leave for your trip.
